These watercolor palettes were too pretty not to draw… and somehow they bloomed into a full-on pattern.

One day, my studio table was scattered with paints, brushes, a little heart rock my son and I painted, and a rogue ball of yarn (no idea why). It felt like a portrait of my creative life — so I turned it into one.

This is A Maker’s Table from my Painter’s Playground collection.
After picking blueberries and making syrup, butter After picking blueberries and making syrup, butter, and snacks galore… I still had a smidge of purĆ©e left. So naturally, I grabbed a brush. šŸ’œ

Painting with blueberries is messy, grainy, hard to control—and absolutely worth it for that dreamy purple hue. šŸ«šŸŽØ
